i am most curious about what moves. i am most curious about that which expands possibilities of thought, action, existence. i am most curious about the intimate: how to produce it, how to experience it, how to understand it while still remaining within it. How to think intimately is what i am curious about. How to create thoughts, concepts that burrow into bodies and make themselves known and remembered. Thoughts that are felt, thoughts that become intimate part of the bodies ‘having’ them.
i am most curious about what moves. i am most curious about what changes. i am most curious about what changes movement. What can slow us down? Wholesomely. i feel we are going too fast in a lot of ways, in a lot of directions. How can i create things that engender pauses in how we think and act, how we live? i want some of my concepts to be tripped over. i want them to cause a change in pace. that cannot be ignored. Reminders to tread carefully. Not reminders to tread lightly, they are not threats. but to tread carefully. A skip of a heartbeat, a monkeywrench in a running engine, cracks in the pavement, cracks in the infrastructural habits: physical, mental, emotional, political of our daily lives. cracks from which new forms of existence - weeds and all - could grow.
